Hope is a powerful tool. Only optimism may lift a person to new heights when they seem to have touched the bottom of their career as an athlete. This exact scenario was on display when a recent clip of Charles Leclerc caught the attention of the fans where he was seen holding the flag of optimism for the Tifosi despite being 141 Points Behind Max Verstappen, mired in the deep swamp of miseries.

After eight Formula 1 races, Leclerc has primarily witnessed the domination of Red Bull and Max Verstappen as the rest of the grid has done. Despite having a terrible first three races of the season, Leclerc managed to finish on the podium in Azerbaijan GP, bringing some hope for a resurgence for the Tifosi. However, after that, all that was left was the Monegasque’s hung-around garland of sorrow.

In contrast to last year, when Ferrari was a title candidate, the team is currently dealing with a serious tire wear problem in addition to its long list of woes related to strategic mistakes, driver blunders, and reliability problems. However, in a recent video that has been making the rounds on the internet, the driver from Monaco showed a high character while he was found among the Tifosi.

Even though Leclerc is now ranked seventh in the driver standings, 141 points adrift of Max Verstappen, he was urged in a crowd full of Scuderia fans to “bring us the world championship, Charles.” Sweet Leclerc then made 2 worded attempts to reignite Tifosi’s hopes. He responded to the fan, “I’ll try!” One of the delighted fans then said excitedly, “Forza Ferrari,” which means power to Ferrari. Then in a heartwarming gesture, the Monegasque replied, “Sempre” meaning “Always.”

Following a respectable season finish at P2 in the constructor’s ranking last year, Charles Leclerc and the team opened this year from the back foot. However, following a fantastic setup in Montreal, the team appears to have elevated their hopes for the forthcoming race in Austria, and for Tifosi, it appears Charles Leclerc may go through his convictions.

To change the fortunes of Ferrari and make Tifosi delighted, Charles Leclerc alters his “beliefs”

While Red Bull has established a standard for the rest of the field to follow, Ferrari is still hoping to rally for P2. The team continues to struggle with tire wear and pace concerns and, in contrast, their competitors, Mercedes and Aston Martin, have already made significant advances forward. Nevertheless, the team concluded the Canadian GP with respectable points thanks to the setup for Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

Although so far Charles Leclerc and the side have had many restless nights because of the SF 23’s unpredictability, now the Monegasque who ten years ago didn’t believe in God appears to have altered his belief in order to change the team’s fortunes and put a smile on Tifosi’ face.

In a recent clip surfacing the internet, Leclerc was caught meeting a priest. Being well aware of the Scuderia’s situation, we can hear the priest saying, “I will pray for you from time to time.” The challenging conditions undoubtedly appear to have altered Leclerc’s beliefs.
