Remember how earlier on in the season Otmar Szafnauer kept on suggesting that the Alpine does have a good pace lying underneath? Yet they were finishing outside or barely inside the points. Imagine how it would sound if the TP says that the car is a slowpoke. It is the TP’s job to keep the morale high. Frederic Vasseur has now come out to make a shocking statement praising the SF-23’s behavior despite the terrible outing for Charles Leclerc in Spain. What behavior did Vasseur hail?

The pain just never seems to end for the Tifosi. After a Subpar start to the season, Ferrari just keeps tumbling down like a barrel. The Spanish GP was one to forget. Charles Leclerc was eliminated in Q1 after he struggled with the car on Saturday and finished the race outside the points in P11. Carlos Sainz started P2 but again tumbled down the order, a failed strategy, and finished P5. Despite the new upgrades one can only ask, when does it get better?

Frederic Vasseur has risen to the occasion, as he still believes in his team. Vasseur understands that the SF-23 needs to be improved around the race pace aspect of it. Charles Leclerc earlier made comments about the SF-23 behaving differently from corner to corner. However, the Ferrari TP suggested that the new upgrades meant that the car is now behaving in a much more consistent way than before.

According to TheCheckeredFlag.co.uk, Frederic Vasseur said, “We come to Canada knowing that there is still room for improvement in terms of race pace with the SF-23. However, the upgrades introduced at the last round in Spain meant that the car behaved more consistently in the race in Barcelona.”

According to TheCheckeredFlag.co.uk, Frederic Vasseur said, “Last year in Montreal, both our drivers raced really well, with Carlos finishing second after putting the winner under pressure all the way to the flag, while Charles fought his way through the field from the back row of the grid to claim a fifth-place finish. Ferrari has always enjoyed plenty of support in Canada and we hope to deliver a strong performance for our Tifosi this weekend.”
