Lando Norris has consistently shown that he is living life to the fullest, whether he gets involved in a live Twitch stream, using a simulator, or simply having fun with a fellow driver. However, the 23-year-old got involved in yet another shenanigans during the podium ceremony as a result of Mclaren’s recent resurgence after bringing a B-Spec Version to their use exclusively. This time, though, Max Verstappen and the company suffered a $45000 setback as a consequence of the Briton’s mischief. And now, after a few days have passed, Max Verstappen and company forgetting the act has extended the olive branch move with just six words.

In contrast to Max Verstappen, who has made it a routine to stroll to the top step of the podium in his RB19, Lando Norris has just recently begun to make appearances on podiums. The British driver worked hard to earn another P2 at the Hungarian GP after taking P2 in the home GP. And when the race’s winners began to celebrate on the podiums, Norris accidentally caused $45,000 in damage to Max Verstappen and his team.

As per usual, Norris was smashing champagne bottles on the podium as he celebrated the P2 in his signature manner. As he was starting to rejoice at the moment, the 23-year-old accidentally hit the trophy, causing it to break and fall off the table. Although during the post-race press conference, Norris playfully blamed Max Verstappen, both he and McLaren, however, afterward expressed apologies. And even though the act had been in place for a few days, Max Verstappen and company now appear to have forgotten about the naughty deed and have extended the olive branch instead.

Recently when McLaren shared a team photo with Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris’ race results printed on a board with the caption “TEAM,” one comment came from Red Bull, and guess what they stated? In just 6 words, the Austrian outfit extended the hand of friendship. In the comments, red bull racing wrote, “We should have done one together.”

Although their comment has been perceived as giving an olive branch to the team that cost them dearly, the Red Bull team boss, Christian Horner, continues to believe Norris is to blame.

What did Christian Horner say about Lando Norris’ mischievous antics at the Hungarian GP?

Christian Horner is equally adept at coming up with rapid wits as he is at formulating the right strategy that enables the squad to rack up the most points possible. And after his team’s driver Max Verstappen had threatened Lando Norris about giving the trophy’s bill to Zak Brown, now it’s Christian Horner who has entered the picture.

The Red Bull team leader disagrees with Norris’ argument that “Max placed [his trophy] too close to the edge.” Instead, according to Horner, it’s Norris who knocked it off. In the F1 nation podcast, Horner was heard saying, ” It was firmly Lando’s fault that knocked it over apparently, and I just heard it’s about €60.000 euros[ $66400] worth of damage that he’s done.”

While adding further Horner talks about the handcrafted masterpiece which takes six months to get ready, he added, “and it took six months to make, I should send him the bill, it’s only fair since he knocked it over.”
