The Briton denied all the rumors regarding a move, suggesting he is happy with the team. James Allison was last responsible for building a title-winning car and his joining as Technical Director must give Briton a boost in confidence. However, when Hamilton was asked if James Allison’s change in role has any effect on his plan and contract, he suggested that it does not. The 38-year-old explained how Allison was already on the team and is just there in a different role now.

According to F1Maximaal.com, when Lewis Hamilton was asked about the technical structure change affecting his contract, he said “It doesn’t change it. I mean, James was already there, he was already on our team. I’m grateful to know, it gives me confidence that we have Mike (Elliott, ed.) and James together, but we already had them on the team,”
