There are probably two ways to live a life: one is to suppress the feelings brought on by an adverse occurrence, and the other is to be ready to meet the next challenge with a grin. This is the exact call Ferrari has to make after suffering through yet another “lousy” weekend, at the British GP. As Charles Leclerc and the company have been tipped to turn the tables in just 4 days on one condition. So what is that one requirement then?

The Formula 1 circus will go to Budapest for Round 11 in only 4 days. Where Mercedes and McLaren, on the one hand, will be moving on the Weekend with enthusiasm, Ferrari and Aston Martin, in contrast, have a choice to make, and that is whether to turn the tables or be ready for another letdown after Silverstone.

In qualifying at the Silverstone Circuit, Ferrari chose to run both of its drivers on intermediate tires while the others flew on slicks, which turned out to be a poor estimate of tire durability. However, this was done to use up the soft compounds and get on the track sooner. Even though it could have ruined the weekend, the decision turned out to be lucky because nothing terrible happened and both drivers finished in the top 5.

Nevertheless, the team’s genuine catastrophe was waiting for them on Sunday. Because of an excessively conservative strategy on medium hard tires during the race, both Scuderia pilots tumbled outside the top 10, trailing Alex Albon of Williams. Additionally, the timing of the safety car, which favored Lewis Hamilton and proved to be a curse for the Ferrari lads. As now the F1 circus arrives at the Hungaroring track, Charles Leclerc and company, though, have been tipped to turn the tables.

At the Budapest circuit, slow corners are said to be 1 condition that might help the Prancing Horses to perform better than it did on the Silverstone track, where tire degradation will play a big role in determining Ferrari’s performance. In the F1 Nation podcast, Tom Clarkson said,” I’m excited to see what Ferrari can do. It was a pretty “lousy” weekend for them at Silverstone, but I think we saw in Austria and Canada that they have made progress.”

Later he added, “ They were too conservative, I think with strategy at Silverstone, I think if Ferrari can make the right choices on the pit wall, I expect them to be more competitive through the slower turns of Hungary now.”

While Frederic Vasseur agrees that the tire strategy at Silverstone was a little too conservative, the Frenchman has now brought attention to one point for Ferrari fans that may prove to be a crucial point on the Budapest track.

Ferrari’s pace issues have been shown to be less of a problem for them than tire degradation. Given numerous instances of how the drivers have been thinking carefully before attacking their competitors on the track, Frederic Vasseur believes that Ferrari’s performance at the Budapest track may be distinguished only by “its good setup.”

Despite the fact that the design of the SF23 will fit the Hungaroring tracks very well, Vasseur is of the opinion that the package and design alone cannot make a difference since a good setup is also required. As per gazzetta.it, he said, “ There is the theme of the set-up, it is not enough that the package adapts to the track. It will be important to decide on a good set-up, all the preparation for the weekend, including Friday, will be fundamental. And in Hungary even more so because it’s a track that is difficult to overtake.” [Translated Via Google]
