Lewis Hamilton and Shakira’s relationship has been somewhat of a rollercoaster ride. Despite the fans terming the duo as a power couple, the two haven’t made anything official yet. It seemed all flowers and roses at first, but speculations of tension between the two grew in between, as Hamilton was called a “womanizer“. Amid all this, Mercedes also gets involved in the duo’s romance with their social media activity despite Toto Wolff’s denial. What did Mercedes do?

Toto Wolff, who is Lewis Hamilton’s boss, was recently asked if he knew anything about Hamilton dating Shakira to which the Austrian shrugged the question by suggesting that he doesn’t know anything. He was then asked about Shakira being in the team garage, to which he replied that he didn’t see anything. Looks like Wolff doesn’t want to involve himself and the team in any way relating to the rumors.

However, Mercedes did get involved in Hamilton and Shakira’s romance with recent social media activity. @shakirastuff_ posted a Tweet which shows Mercedes’ Twitter account’s following. To our surprise, Mercedes is following Shakira on Twitter as shown in the pictures uploaded with the Tweet. The caption to the Tweet is “Anyone know when and why the F1 Mercedes team followed Shakira?”

Fans were left in the same state of surprise as we are, with loads of questions left unanswered. Nonetheless, the most recent news on Hamilton and Shakira’s relationship was revealed by someone close to Shakira. Let’s see what it was all about. 

Lewis Hamilton and Shakira share something more than a friendship.

There were some speculations of Shakira and Hamilton not gelling well and that Hamilton has issues with Shakira’s attitude. However, Jordi Martin, a Spanish Journalist close to Shakira, suggested that he spoke with the Latina’s entourage and they denied such rumors. He further added that the singer and F1 Champion might have something more than a friendship.

According to Marca.com, Jordi Martin said, “I have spoken to Shakira’s entourage and they confirm that between Shakira and Hamilton, there has always been a beautiful friendship. And that, between them there has been something more than friendship. The two knew very clearly that there was nothing serious and that there was total freedom between them to do whatever they wanted.”
