In one of the most thrilling seasons in Formula 1 history, title contenders, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen entered the season finale tied at 369.5 points each. It could have gone in anyone’s favor, but the pole man Lewis did have an advantage. However, Nicholas Latifi crashed and a new timeline split open, as shown in the Marvel series Loki.

This one saw Max Verstappen claim his first world title and Lewis not being able to register a number bigger than Michael Schumacher. However, the aftermath will always be a string of mysteries. And now one scarlet string came loose.

Jean Todt, who has recently been in news because of his wife’s achievements was an Ex-Ferrari and FIA chief and remained at the helm of the sport for many years. Even though now he’s focusing on global road safety, he can never be a stranger to the sport.

As quoted by Mirror, he has now disclosed that even though he wasn’t around; he got called by both parties involved, Red Bull and Mercedes. And as it turns out, he refused to interfere and, in turn, refused to help Wolff.

Lewis Hamilton won his seventh world title in 2020 and the commentator roared that the championship record had been equaled.
