Sons of past Formula 1 drivers entering the sport is not that common an occurrence. Following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mick Schumacher becomes the latest entrant in that regard.

Verstappen recently opened up about why Mick is at a difficult starting point considering his association to racing legend Michael Schumacher. But the Dutchman also believes that the Haas driver is in a suitable environment with the right people around him.

Mick had already gotten a glimpse of being in the limelight during his scheduled free practice session with Alfa Romeo in 2020. Further, his stock has now risen after winning the F2 championship title, which is certainly a big deal.
