Does F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton Own a Restaurant?

Although Lewis Hamilton is a full-time f1 race driver, the seven-time world champion has also got other ventures going on at the side. The Mercedes driver has ventured into fields like music and fashion. And many fans might not even know that he also owns a restaurant.

The seven-time F1 world champion got into the restaurant business back in 2019. As he established a vegan-burger chain known as Neat Burger. Soon after the launch, Sir Hamilton’s vegan burger restaurant chain became one of the fastest-growing vegan restaurant chains. Moreover, Hamilton’s restaurant has won the PETA Inaugural Company of the Year Award.

Hamilton’s company is the favorite vegan fast-food restaurant chain in the UK. At the moment, Neat Burger has over six branches in the UK, including in places like London, Soho, Starford, and Camden. But the seven-time F1 world champion is planning to expand it to 30 more outlets. Currently, Neat Burger’s menu comprises burgers, fries, and shakes, and they also have a special vegan Filet-No-Fish sandwich.

It seems F1 isn’t enough for the Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton. Now he wants to get his hands into soccer. However, rather than playing, he might own a soccer team. Hamilton had ventured into music and fashion before he got into the restaurant business. And now owning a soccer team seems like the next milestone for the 7-time world champion.

Amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Russian owner, Roman Abramovich is looking to sell the football club, Chelsea FC. Seeing the opportunity, the seven-time F1 world champion along with his friend, the tennis superstar Serena Williams, joined hands with British businessman Martin Broughton to buy the club.

Hamilton’s spokesperson reported, “We can confirm Lewis has joined Sir Martin Broughton’s bid.”

If the deal goes through, Sir Lewis Hamilton will become an owner of one of the best soccer clubs in the world, which even won the 2021 UEFA Champions League.
