McLaren really have come a long way from their struggles in the mid-2010s. Their fortunes changed after they appointed Andrea Seidl as the team principal at the beginning of the 2019 season. And they are now the third-best team on the grid and have a stellar driver lineup of Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo.

“I don’t know when that opportunity will come. We still need a good wind tunnel. There are some things that we simply don’t have compared to Mercedes or Red Bull. That is why we will have a better chance in 2023 or 2024,” said Norris.

McLaren are currently in P3 in the constructors’ championship. If they finish in P3, it would be for the second successive season that they would achieve this feat.
