The eternal king of F1, Lewis Hamilton, finds himself tasked with the biggest challenge of his racing career. After dominating the sport with Mercedes, the 7x champion seems to have fallen short at the last hurdle that could confirm him as the greatest this sport has ever seen. And while he sits on the sidelines, day after day he sees the man that denied him that elusive 8th championship, Max Verstappen, bask in the glory of success. Even though the Dutch lion currently sits atop the F1 world, the wounded lion, that is Hamilton, has roared back with a warning to reckon for his arch-nemesis.

The Silver Arrows find themselves between a rock and a hard place as things stand. The philosophy they’ve taken for the latest era of F1 has evidently backfired. On the other hand, Hamilton has entered the twilight of his career. Down in the dumps, with no foreseeable hope, the 38-year-old has avenged to get back all that he lost with his latest message to team Red Bull and Verstappen.

After a relatively disappointing Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, where the Brit finished outside the podium once again, he seemed it fit to remind the 2x champion of what is to come. Express UK quoted Hamilton as saying, “I will win again. It’s just going to take some time.”

He continued, “Of course, in 2021, when we were here [in Saudi Arabia], we were hoping to be fighting for another World Championship. You know, you never know what’s up ahead.”

Verstappen’s had the upper hand on Hamilton recently. However, the Brit knows what he needs to do to overcome his current struggles.

The current predicament the 7x champion finds himself in can bring the mightiest to their knees. But Hamilton possesses a different psyche. And even though he seems to have lost that magic touch, his focus lies on getting back to where he belongs.

Hamilton explained, “There will be things that happen in all of our lives that we least expect. But it’s not how you fall, it’s how you get up. It’s how you deal with it, it’s how you show up. It’s how you continue to remain positive and tackle the issues that you’re faced with. And so that’s where my energy is going. And that’s what every single person in the team is focused on,” as quoted by Express UK.
