Lewis Hamilton had another great race in Imola. The 6-times world champion overcame some jittery early laps, capitalized on a lucky pit stop and crossed the checkered flag in P1, sealing his 93 victory.

The Briton seems unstoppable at the moment, and it looks like his domination over the grid will continue for a long period of time. Or will it?

Addressing the media after the race, on whether his future depends on Mercedes boss signing an extension, he said, “I don’t even know if I’m going to be here next year. So it’s not a concern for me at the moment.

Those sound like some incredibly grim words that could concern Hamilton and F1 fans in general.

However, it’s just an indication of the fact that he is yet to sign a contract for 2021. Many a times, considering all of Hamilton’s success, it does get easy to forget that he is still without a contract for next year.

However, if one is still not convinced, Hamilton reiterated the fact that he’s feeling good and intends to continue for a lot longer.

He said, “We’re in November. It’s crazy that Christmas isn’t that far away. Naturally, I feel great and I feel like I could keep going for plenty of months.”
