The Ferrari movie featuring Adam Driver was released in Cinemas on the 26th of December. The movie is set in the late 1950s, a time when Enzo Ferrari was on the verge of bankruptcy trying to save his team. His only option to save it was the legendary Mille Miglia, a 1000-mile race across Italy. The movie is based on the struggles and how Enzo Ferrari wagered everything to save him.

And now, Enzo Ferrari’s son, Piero Ferrari, has exposed 3 mistakes in the Ferrari movie. In a video uploaded by Ferrari, Piero Ferrari was asked about De Portago’s portrayal in the movie, to which he replied, “It wasn’t like in the film because it actually happened the previous year. De Portago had already started working with Ferrari by then.” When asked about whether he ever asked De Portago for an Autograph, he replied, “No, that’s a bit of a poetic license in the film, because back then people didn’t ask for autographs or at least I didn’t collect them. But if I remember correctly, neither did my friends, my peers.”

The final mistake from the movie was revealed when Piero Ferrari was asked about his father and whether he actually was the kind of person who’d sacrifice anything to win. He said, “No, he wasn’t like that. He wanted to win. That was always the goal with any of the challenges he set himself. But he didn’t want to win at any cost, especially not by putting drivers’ lives at risk.”
