Lewis Hamilton shared a special bond with Sebastian Vettel that is hard to come across in F1. Vettel and Hamilton shared a rivalry, but ever greater than their rivalry was their friendship. Sebastian was someone Hamilton could confide in. Just like Vettel, the Briton also confided in Angela Cullen. Hamilton suffered a heartbreak this year with both of them deciding to leave F1. However, the other former confidant seems to be over the heartbreak phase as she embraces the fresh beginnings with her new crew. 

Angela Cullen joined the Mercedes F1 Team in 2015. The Kiwi trainer and Lewis Hamilton shared a special bond. While her title was Lewis Hamilton’s performance coach, she meant much more to the 7x World Champion. Cullen accompanied Hamilton everywhere, from the media press conference to the end of the race, handling the Briton’s stuff for him. However, during the early parts of the season, Cullen announced that she’ll be splitting ways with Hamilton to follow different passions and goals in her life. 

Lewis Hamilton wrote a heartfelt message for her friend when she decided to leave, as he uploaded a post on Instagram. By the looks of it, it seems like Angela Cullen is finally over the sorrows of the split with the team as she was seen enjoying moments with her new crew. Cullen recently posted a photo on Instagram where she is seen with the crew of Bali Training Centre. The Kiwi has been in Bali for some time now as she started working with the Bali Training Group. The caption to the photo posted with the crew is “Monday Hustle. Some days you need your crew to get you thru. Find your Tribe🤍🙏🏻🦋 @bali_training_centre”

The caption portrayed that Angela Cullen has finally started relying upon her new crew, just like Lewis Hamilton relied on Cullen. Cullen’s departure did leave a blank space in the Briton’s heart that was already sore from the poor 2022 season. Nevertheless, Angela has continued his support for Lewis Hamilton while enjoying other things in life.

Ever since the split with Lewis Hamilton, Angela Cullen has posted multiple posts and stories on her Instagram where she can be seen trying and practicing various sports. The Kiwi posted pictures of her skiing. There were many posts in and around her, surfing with the latest surfing post suggesting that Lewis Hamilton makes surfing look easy. Cullen also tried her hands at adventure sports as she uploaded a reel of herself skydiving for the first time. 

Despite so much happening, Cullen doesn’t forget to post about the Mercedes driver with the most recent Hamilton post uploaded around the Monaco GP as she shared her memories around the track with his former confidant.
