Daniel Ricciardo gave every F1 fan some peace of mind when he announced his return to Red Bull. The Australian future was up in the air following his McLaren ousting. The Red Bull reunion came as a pleasant surprise for most fans. However, his third driver role does not guarantee that Ricciardo will see track time, much to the fans’ displeasure. However, according to speculation, the Australian might take to the track for Red Bull in Germany.

According to a report by Race Fans, Red Bull is hosting the 12 Hours of Nurburgring event in September. The event called Red Bull Formula Nurburgring will see a modern F1 car around the Nordschleife. This Nurburgring Nordschleife is one of the world’s most legendary racetracks. The cars that conquer the track are put on the same pedestal. This is exactly why Red Bull will bring out their best machinery on track and this might also be an opening for Ricciardo.
