There is a lot of uncertainty over Lewis Hamilton’s return to the Formula One grid in 2022 after the controversial Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. However, there is one person who believes that the Knight will feature in the upcoming season.
Formula One boss, Stefano Domenicali has faith that Lewis will come back stronger for the 2022 season, and will push himself to the limit to grab his eighth title in the sport.

A controversial decision by the FIA turned the tables in the championship, which saw Max Verstappen become world champion. There has since been a question mark within the F1 community on Hamilton’s return for the next season. Domenicali feels the world of Formula One doesn’t have to worry as he knows that Hamilton is getting charged up to win his eighth title.
Speaking to Gazzetta.it, Domenicali said, “Lewis Hamilton? I’m sure he will recharge his batteries and come back with even more desire than before to win the eighth world title.”

The Mercedes driver managed to bag eight wins, five pole positions, and seventeen podiums. The Knight ended up with 387.5 points; not enough to grab the championship as he lost the title by just eight points.
Now with the winter break on, the 36-year-old will use this time to recover from the season and come back stronger, with hopes of winning a historic eighth title in Formula One.
