Lewis is putting in that hard work with the Hamilton Commission. He talked about all the work it needs and how the women in his life changed his life.

Lewis Hamilton is a momma’s boy!

Lewis Hamilton in Australia talked and inspired a room full of women. The interviewer asked Lewis about the role of his family in his career and success. And as we’ve heard Lewis talk about his father on multiple occasions. However, this time, he told us about the role his two mothers played in his career.

Hamilton started off by telling everyone he has two mothers. “Two incredibly independent powerful women,” is how he described them. “That supportive structure that both my mums have given me has really enabled me to excel and also I think we live in a world where there’s not enough compassion and empathy, I feel like I really got that from both my mother’s sides,” said Lewis about both his mothers.

The Mercedes man even said, “I’ve actually got a whole team of women behind me who power me every day.” after which he peeked over at Angela Cullen. She is Lewis’s physiotherapist for the past seven years now and works with 280 in a year as mentioned by him!

What it takes to raise a world champion

Lewis also mentioned the sacrifices his parents made for him to keep racing. “My stepmum Linda was incredible. My dad and my stepmum worked together to get me into racing. So she sacrificed all of her money, everything! She didn’t go out and buy new dresses, they weren’t out enjoying life or on holiday, all of their money went into racing,” recalled Hamilton.
