Max Verstappen was driving one step ahead of everyone: Fernando Alonso

As reported by ESPN, before the season finale in Abu Dhabi, Alonso mentioned that in his opinion, the Red Bull driver deserved the title. He also stated that Max was one step ahead of every driver in F1 in 2021.

“It’s not that I support Max. I think he deserves it or he was driving. In my opinion, as I said, everyone has a different opinion. I think he was driving that Red Bull to another level.” said the Alpine driver.

It would be a dream to see Fernando and Max diving in equal machinery at the front of the grid. There could be a possibility of this scenario if Alpine gets to the top of the sport in the new 2022 cars. Motorsport fans all around the world would love to see Verstappen and Alonso go wheel-to-wheel on the track.
