Aston Martin have done it again! The Silverstone-based team has once again designed a car that matches the concept of the other F1 team on the grid. In 2020, they were termed ‘Pink Mercedes’ for developing a clone of the German team’s 2019 championship-winning car.

It looks like they have now gone a bit further by developing a similar sidepod design to Red Bull which has gotten them the name ‘Green Red Bull’.

But the Austrian team are not the one to back down as they mercilessly trolled the Aston Martin team during FP1. The energy drink manufacturer brought out their own Green drink as to their traditional Blue and Silver on the pit wall. This trolling sent the F1 fans on Twitter into a frenzy and they had some of the best reactions to the incident.

This was a genius move by the great minds at Red Bull. It sends a stern message without making a big fuss about the whole Green Red Bull issue.

But Red Bull team principal Christian Horner in a yet-to-released interview with BBC had some opinions on the whole incident.

Horner revealed he has full confidence that the FIA will conduct a thorough investigation on the matter. He mentioned that his primary concern is that he hopes that the IP of the team has not been copied.

“It is quite a thing to instruct your team to come up with a very close-looking clone of our car. A few people have moved over the winter period, and what you can’t control is what they take in their heads.”

“But what would be of grave concern to us would be if any IP had in any way changed hands. That is where we rely on the FIA to do their job. They have all the access and we will be relying on them heavily to ensure that no Red Bull IP has found its way into that car,” said Christian.
