Lap 1 of the 19 Lap showdown saw multiple incidents. The contacts and ‘wheel into wheel’ racing saw Lando Norris and Lance Stroll drop out of the race. Fernando Alonso, who has been the recipient of multiple harsh penalties, also screamed about a puncture on the radio. The Safety car was out within no time. But an eventful race that saw its conclusion sometime later saw Fernando fuming over Lewis Hamilton‘s move that cost his team crucial points. But this hasn’t gone down well with the fans.

Following an on-track incident at the Chinese Grand Prix Sprint Race, the FIA upheld the penalty issued to Fernando Alonso despite Aston Martin’s appeal. Alonso has been a recipient of penalties like they were free candies. His racing collisions have even invited penalty points on his super license. And now, when he is on the other side of such a collision, he has handed the stewards a heavy taunt.

Fans have not taken Fernando Alonso’s blame on Lewis Hamilton lightly

Lewis Hamilton’s relationship with FIA hasn’t been great. Most people from Lewis and Mercedes’ fandom still blame FIA for Hamilton not being an eight-time champion. And recently Hamilton even declared that the FIA President Mohammed Bin Sulayem didn’t have his support or backing for the position of president. Taking all of this into account, the LH army went into a furious frenzy.

Remembering the 2021 Abu Dhabi showdown, fans reminded Alonso of Hamilton’s strained relationship with FIA.

A user also accused Fernando of being a crybaby in disbelief.

The other one dissected what went down during lap 1 and concluded that it was all Alonso’s fault and Alonso bumped his teammate before Hamilton came into the equation.

And owing to this, another fan slammed his victim mentality and insecurity.

An X user even accused Nando of going that extra mile in the blame game when Lewis is involved in an incident with him.
