The star-studded Miami GP is on the horizon as F1 makes its way to the first race in the Western Hemisphere. The Miami GP used to be the Marquee event in the US before Las Vegas took over. Yet, this is the race where most of the celebrities pay a visit to the track. Shakira and Tom Cruise were some of the big names who made it to the track last year. And this time around, Camila Cabello has teamed up with Susie Wolff for a special event.

The event in question is organized by American Express in collaboration with F1 Academy. Just a couple of days ago, American Express was announced as the official partner of the F1 Academy after the company became the official payment partner of F1 in the US last year. Also, for all the remaining rounds of the F1 Academy 2024 season, American Express will run a special livery featuring small shop branding to support local small businesses.

The event is being organized to celebrate the collaboration, and will be called, “A Celebration of Women with Drive”. It’s going to be a special for the American Express cardholders and is going to take place on the 1st of May and will start at 7:30 PM local time. It’s going to be a 2.5-hour-long event and will take place at The Temple House in South Beach. Susie Wolff will be joined by Camila Cabello for this event.

As for the details of what the event will include, Forbes advises, “During the event, Card Members will experience a discussion featuring Susie Wolff, managing director of F1 ACADEMY, and Camila Cabello, that looks at the role of women in business and sports and how these dynamic female leaders have been able to drive impact and inspire future generations as well as a first look into new music from Camila Cabello.”

At the moment, tickets are still available at feverup.com and can only be booked using an American Express card. The cost of a single ticket is $25 and there’s a limit of 4 tickets per card holder. There are no age restrictions for the event but minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Susie Wolff is ecstatic about this collaboration with American Express and now let’s see what her thoughts are about the same.

Susie Wolff thanks American Express for embracing F1 Academy’s vision

F1 Academy was launched with the vision to promote females and increase their participation in motorsports at all levels, both on and off the track. Lewis Hamilton along with many other drivers has spoken highly about the need for diversity on the F1 grid and F1 Academy looks to tackle a part of that issue. Tying up with a global brand like American Express will help promote F1 Academy on a larger scale.

After the collaboration was announced, Susie Wolff said, “American Express is a worldwide leader in the payments space and a powerful advocate for small businesses and entrepreneurs globally, and we’re proud to welcome them to F1 ACADEMY as an Official Partner. We’re thankful to American Express for embracing our vision and for showing their commitment to elevating women in sport and inspiring the next generation of female drivers.”
