Lando Norris Before F1
Norris was 13 years old back then and competing in some British karting leagues. He would go on to clinch the World Karting Championship title held in Bahrain in 2013. And in the following year, he won the CIK-FIA KF World Championship making him the youngest karting world championship winner.
He had his single-seater debut in 2014 in the Ginetta Junior Championship, where he finished third overall, winning the Rookie Cup.

For 2015, Norris signed with Carlin Motorsport to drive in the newly established MSA Formula series and made occasional appearances in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship and the Italian Formula 4 Championship with Mücke Motorsport.

The next year he participated in the Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand and won the championship. He then took part in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and NEC series finishing first in both series.

After doing a part-time season in Formula 3 he joined Carlin full-time in the 2017 European Formula 3 Championship. He took the championship title finishing 53 points ahead of runner-up Joel Eriksson. In the same year, he joined the Mclaren junior team and had the first taste of McLaren F1 machinery.
He moved to Formula 2 again with Carlin for the 2018 championship and came close to winning the title but ended up finishing runner-up to fellow Brit George Russell.
Norris made his debut in Formula One in 2019 scoring 49 points and out-qualifying his teammate Sainz 11-10 over the course of the season. He was also voted best rookie of the year by F1 fans.

In July 2019, Norris signed a multi-year contract to stay with McLaren for the 2020 season and beyond.
