According to a recent post on X by deni, “Lewis Hamilton set to ‘more than $100 million a year’ with new deal at Ferrari.” deni is a reliable source who covers F1 news revolving around Lewis Hamilton, but with no official statement from Ferrari, this cannot be confirmed.

Lewis Hamilton is set to take the seat of Carlos Sainz in Ferrari as he signed a multi-year contract with the team starting in 2025. In his post, deni also stated, “His arrival in Maranello will be very important, not only for the experience he brings but also for his undoubted qualities as an undisputed driver and an indisputable commercial value.” The post shares how Lewis will be a valuable asset to the Maranello-based team as he comes with the experience of being a 7-time world champion.

After 2024, Lewis Hamilton will be driving for Ferrari alongside Charles Leclerc who has also signed a multi-year contract with the Prancing Horse. With both the seats for 2025 confirmed in Ferrari, we can expect a great season from them. However, speculations are rife regarding why Hamilton left so suddenly.

What made Lewis Hamilton leave Mercedes?

Lewis Hamilton broke his silence on the reason behind leaving Mercedes after 11 years. Ferrari confirmed acquiring Hamilton’s services from the 2025 F1 season as the legendary driver decided to make the switch. Hamilton has a history of taking risks, evident from leaving McLaren for Mercedes in 2012. He trusted the project at Mercedes, winning six titles from 2014 to 2020.

With Ferrari, Hamilton believes he will get the car he deserves to take on the current reigning champion Max Verstappen. Red Bull currently has one of the best cars in Formula 1 and with the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E PERFORMANCE, Hamilton found it difficult to take on Max for the title of World Champion.
