Ferrari’s superstar driver Charles Leclerc celebrated his 24 birthday on Saturday, October 16. The Monegasque is in his fourth season in Formula One and is touted to be a world champion in the future. Fans believe he will achieve the feat once he is given a Championship-winning car. Sadly, Ferrari has failed to do so in the last three years.

One of the most highly-rated drivers in the grid, hordes of people wished Leclerc on his birthday by hordes of people, including Carlos Sainz, his Ferrari team as well as fans from all around the world.

Fellow Ferrari racer and chess nemesis wishes Charles Leclerc on his birthday

Leclerc’s Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz wished him a happy birthday and referred to him as his chess archenemy. The couple was seen playing chess while waiting for the start of the 2021 Belgian Grand Prix.

Another Leclerc fan from the Republic of Mozambique posted a whole thread of Leclerc pictures to celebrate his birthday.

This fan renamed their Twitter account to Charles Day and posted a huge montage of numerous F1 fans wishing the Ferrari champ a happy birthday.

Ferrari tweeted this and wished Charles a very happy birthday. Charles is supposed to stay with Ferrari till 2024, with speculations that the contract will be extended till 2026.

The most special birthday wish was an unexpected one

However, the best wish on his birthday was undoubtedly from Charles’ very own Formula One car, the SF21. Ferrari tweeted a video of the SF21 car along with the caption. “Dear Charles, Since I cannot be with you today, I have prepared a special message. Hope you like it. Faithfully yours, #SF21

Charles is a bright rising star in the field of Motorsports, and fans have eyes on him to become the next F1 World Champion. But till now, Ferrari has been unable to provide him with a competent car. Yet, he has done really well with all that he has and grabbed some podiums with his car. What’s in store for him in the remaining few races of this season? Only time will tell.
