The Leclerc name is slowly becoming a strong part of the Tifosi. They developed the talented Charles Leclerc and now they are on their way to getting another Leclerc part of their history.

Charles Leclerc is a product of the Ferrari driver development program. The Ferrari Driver Academy graduate joined the institution in 2016.

He showed great intensity and skill during the few free practice sessions. His laps at the Hungaroring impressed Kimi Raikkonen, who was then driving for Alfa Romeo.

An amazed Kimi said, “It’s not easy to do well in a different car from what you normally drive. But Leclerc has shown great progress, and for sure he will do great things in the future.” His name now was in the notebooks of all team bosses.

He graduated to a full Ferrari seat in 2019 and ended the season with a more-than-respectable 4th place finish.

The Academy has found another superb talent in Charles’ young brother, Arthur. While the 22-year-old still awaits for his break in F1, he has done well at the lower circuits, i.e. F2, and F3.

Although Arthur might not have shown the sparks of brilliance that Charles had shown during his early years, there’s still a lot of time for the Monegasque to develop, learn and grow. He is in the best hands in the sport.

Charles could have finished higher this season if not for the many mistakes that Ferrari made. He would be looking for a turnaround next season. Arthur too would be hoping he could make it to the big stage soon and would be picking the brain of his older brother.
