As Formula 1 ramps up for an exciting new venture come 2022, it certainly seems to be attracting a handful of former F1 personnel, including the ex-Renault managing director who walked out of the sport in 2014, citing the hybrid era as the reason for his departure.

Briatore took to Instagram to reveal that he will be a part of the forthcoming new chapter of Formula 1. “A brand new chapter in Formula One is about to start: We will bring you all the excitement, the entertainment, the fun, and energy that this fantastic sport deserves! STAY TUNED!”
Briatore is one of the fewest bosses to prioritize the entertainment side over the technical side of the sport. Hence, this ended up being the primary reason why the Italian bowed out of F1 prior to the start of the 2014 season.
