Left eager at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc was not happy with his performance. Though the young Monegasque finished in the top 10, many would agree that P6 was not his rightful place. The Ferrari driver was fighting with Red Bull’s Sergio Perez for P2, when suddenly misjudged braking and desperation cost Leclerc heavy.

The 24-year-old had been an absolute wonder to watch before he faced the drastic spin. His fearsome car, F1-75, had been putting him on the podiums consistently until yesterday. Understandably, Leclerc’s natural driving abilities have left rivals envious and fans charmed. While he is of the top favorites to win this season, Leclerc is faced with the daunting task of keeping Max Verstappen at bay.
The Tifosi’s moaned when Charles spun around. When he recovered just as quickly, they rooted for him again to at least manage a P3. However, when they saw him making it to the pits immediately, they knew all was lost. This was a tough sight to watch, and Leclerc was understandably embarrassed. But later on, Charles came out and apologized, waving to the fans from the garage, keeping a smile still.

Charles Leclerc apologizes to the Ferrari Fans
In an Instagram post, Leclerc felt the need to later globally apologize, and explain what had happened. He wrote, “I gave it all but went over the limit at the end. Sorry to the team and to all the Tifosi that supports us. Instead of a P3, it ended up in a P6. We’ll come back stronger.”
