Kimi Raikkonen is a warm-hearted person: Mattia Binotto

As reported by Speedweek, the Ferrari team boss stated that the Finnish driver was different from the one portrayed in the media. Mattia mentioned that Kimi Raikkonen is a warmhearted person and his antics in front of the camera do not really do him justice.

“We will miss Kimi. I got to know him as a thoroughly honest man, a man who renounces all antics. What you see or what he says is the matter, and that’s it; no games,” said Binotto.

“He may have seemed cold or taciturn to some people, but there was always a completely different person slumbering in him, not the ice cream man at all. On the contrary, Raikkonen is a warm-hearted person, but it’s probably the case that you could only get to know the real Kimi off the racetracks.”

“I’ve known Kimi for a long time now, I think, for more than 14 years. He was always a fantastic and very fast driver. And I think he’s still fast today. But he’s also a great guy,” said the Ferrari team principal.
