2020 has not been a very kind year for Ferrari, who find themselves closer to the bottom than the top in the Constructors’ standings. At the other end, their rival Mercedes have now confirmed yet another championship to add to their tally.

The technical regulations enforceable from 2022 have been long talked about as a potential game-changer. Some even think this is a “reset button” for many teams, to put their best foot forward in a bid to earn success.

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff thinks Ferrari will consider waiving off any expectations from next season. Considering the Scuderia can start afresh, and develop a stronger car right from the start of 2022.
