We’re almost at the Australian GP race weekend, however, the talk of the town from the last race is still relevant. We’re talking about Oliver Bearman, the youngster who took Formula 1 by storm in just half a race weekend. The Englishman has impressed many and we’re to come across a negative comment about Bearman’s race. He has impressed the entire sport to a degree that almost everyone expects to see him on the grid in 2025, even Red Bull’s Helmut Marko. Moreover, Marko revealed how the youngster was on Red Bull’s radar but he was already a Ferrari man.

The Red Bull taskmaster is burdened with the task of looking after Red Bull’s youth and deciding their future within the Red Bull family. This is exactly how young Oliver Bearman was linked with the Austrian team and its subsidiary. Marko revealed, in his conversation with OE24, how they looked into the possibility of singing Bearman.

When asked if he would’ve signed Bearman for the Visa Cash App RB team, Marko made an honest confession. We actually had an informative conversation with him, but he was already at the Ferrari Academy. It is unimaginable that we would train him for Ferrari,” said Marko. A Red Bull team training a Ferrari prospect, a reality Marko cannot fathom.

However, even if Bearman cannot drive for Ferrari for the next few years, we have a feeling his heart lies with the Italian team. He made it evident when he expressed his feelings after the Saudi Arabian GP.
