Controversies, rivalries, love, friendships, and money are some of the things that are constantly spoken about within the Formula 1 universe. But today, we’ll talk about the forbidden and see how a vicenarian Charles Leclerc lost his virginity not once, but twice in the same year. And the supposedly “badly behaved” party animal that Daniel Ricciardo is, had a big role to play in it.

Ever since Ricciardo stole the limelight from everybody else by joining AlphaTauri, revelations about his past have become rife. A few days ago, former F1 Boss, Eddie Jordan, joined the bandwagon of people telling the Honey Badger’s stories. And he revealed how along with David Coulthard, Ricciardo goes absolutely nuts in afterparties. He said, “The afterparty after Monaco in Anjuna where you (Coulthard) behave very badly, and another person who behaves badly is Daniel Ricciardo.”

This must surely sound like something new if you haven’t followed the Australian racer for a while. As it turns out, he’s always been an absolute party animal. And Leclerc has got firsthand experience being alongside him in such a situation. In 2019, the Monegasque, then 21-year-old, in his first year with the legendary Ferrari, won his first-ever race in F1–the Belgian GP. Now, that is one kind of virginity that he lost on his own. The other is where Ricciardo stepped in.

Las Vegas or the city that never sleeps, as labeled by Haas Boss Guenther Steiner, is known for its nightlife and partying. ‘Sin City’ offers an unmatched experience in you-know-what. To get Leclerc to thoroughly enjoy that, the party-animal Daniel Ricciardo stepped up. In his post-2019 season Instagram post, the then-Renault racer posted a photo of the duo exchanging helmets, captioning it: “Lost two of his virginity’s this year. F1 win and Vegas. Helmet swap so necessary.”

No wonder the AlphaTauri man looks happy 24 x 7. Moreover, this isn’t the only instance where he’s gotten a fellow driver to explore the ecstasies of the world.

Lando Norris was another childish and bubbly presence in interviews, like Daniel Ricciardo. At the 2022 Miami GP, the then-McLaren pairing was asked about their freaky escapades, if any. “I mean, I didn’t merely trash the room,” Ricciardo remarked, recounting an experience. “I trashed the whole floor.” And when it was Norris’ turn to answer, he one-upped his ex-teammate.

Norris told the media,We got kicked out of the pool. We were being naughty in the pool and everyone, not just me, got kicked out. So we went up to the rooms [and] had a nice party in the rooms. And that was that, so I apologize if there were any disturbed people in the ground above and the ground below. But yeah, it was good fun.”.
