Ferrari stay away from revealing their new look

The teams ranked third and fourth in the constructor’s championship this season went two separate ways in terms of revealing their new look. McLaren decided to go ahead and splash the new design with their papaya-colored livery along with Lando Norris‘ #4 on the car.

Although McLaren revealed the new car in their livery, their rivals in Ferrari refrained from doing the same. In fact, the Maranello-based outfit remains the only team to not join the trend that the other nine teams followed.

Although fans of Ferrari might feel the team shortchanged them, there could be a motive behind it. Could the Italians be working on a different color scheme for 2022? Or are they working on a technical aspect of the car behind the scenes?

With Ferrari more than 90% focused on next year’s package, only time will tell their reason to stay away from this reveal.
