Sergio Perez takes pole at Jeddah

The Jeddah track is not one to take eyes off of. In the blink of an eye, the car can fly into the barriers. For Perez, his car flew, but in all the best ways possible. Despite Leclerc’s lap looking very decent, the Monegasque could not manage pole. The Ferrari driver did manage to outpace his teammate Carlos Sainz but somehow couldn’t beat Perez. The Mexican driver also beat reigning world champion and teammate Max Verstappen.
