“You’ve got seven titles. You do not need to be apprehensive, you do not need to be intimidated or bullied. Because that’s the way he’s beginning to sound like. I’d calm him down and make him focus on what is required to do.”

He believes that if there’s something that’s certain, something that is ‘for sure’ that Verstappen has done to Hamilton, it is this – “Lewis Hamilton saying what he said, you have to say he has him a bit rattled.”

So what did Hamilton say about Verstappen?

Speaking after the race in Saudi Arabia, Hamilton had said, “I’ve come across a lot of different characters and there’s a few at the top which are over the limit. Rules kind of don’t apply, or they don’t think of the rules.”

Jordan doesn’t think Max Verstappen was ‘over the line’ against Lewis Hamilton

Eddie Jordan said, “He’s certainly on the borderline. That’s for sure.”

He explained Verstappen has ‘a sense of aggression’ which is intimidating. But if it’s within the rules, then it shouldn’t be a problem.

Jordan added, “If it’s a 50-50 tussle, he is never, ever going to back out of that. So you have to give him some credit for being ultra brave. Some of the moves he takes on is unbelievable.”

“I’ve never seen anything like some of it.”

In a week’s time, this title battle will come to an end. It could very well be decided by outright advantages, but nobody would be surprised if ‘borderline’ things come into play, considering what’s at stake.
