While talking about Norris, Hakkinen also mentioned that his teammate Daniel Ricciardo is struggling this season. However, he is not concerned about his form, as he knows Ricciardo is a fantastic driver. In fact, he believes there is something stopping him from extracting performance from the McLaren car.

Daniel is a fantastic driver and one of the best overtaking artists in the field, but something is preventing him from getting the most out of himself and the car.

“If they can find a solution to this problem, it will be tough for Ferrari in the fight for third place in the team standings,” said Hakkinen.
