Max Verstappen is arguably the most aggressive Formula One driver on the grid right now. He is known to be extra aggressive when he’s chasing someone and trying to overtake them on the track. Sometimes he even pushes the boundaries a bit too much in this quest to get the most out of his car on the track.

But former world champion Nico Rosberg mentioned he is one driver that he won’t like to face while defending. The 2016 world champion mentioned that Verstappen is an animal when he is attacking someone in the front.

Every driver on the grid knows you need to give extra space to the Red Bull driver when you are going into a wheel-to-wheel battle with him. On many occasions, Max has refused to give any space to his rival on the track and forced them to concede track position.

He gives it his all on the track, whether he’s attacking or defending against other drivers. Rosberg perfectly mentioned that the Dutch driver is an animal on track. He revealed that the pressure is very much on as we can expect more Leclerc-Verstappen battles this season.

“The pressure is on. Leclerc still has a lead, but Verstappen comes mercilessly towards him. I always said it before, the last driver you want to see in your mirrors is Verstappen. If he’s chasing you, it’s like an animal. I’m sure we will see a lot more of this,” said Rosberg.

For now, it has been a fair fight between Charles and Max whenever they have battled on the track. But it would be interesting to see if they do come together. Will the gloves come off like they did last season between Verstappen and Hamilton?

There is a lot of history between Leclerc and Verstappen, as they have been racing against each other since their karting days. Both of them would be eager to get one up on each other and take home the championship.
