The Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz and memes go way back. It seems the 27-year-old can’t escape from them. Recently, the Carlos Sainz golfing memes have been doing the rounds all over the internet. Further, it’s not the first time F1 fans made a little fun of Sainz’s hobby in golf.

Sainz is still not at ‘100%’ with Ferrari F1-75

The Spaniard joined Ferrari last year from McLaren. Sainz was phenomenal last season alongside teammate Charles Leclerc as they both helped the team to finish third ahead of their rival McLaren.

But this season Sainz and Leclerc are far better than last season. The Ferrari duo in the new 2022 challenger F1-75 is dominating the grid. However, the Monégasque driver is ahead of Sainz. Leclerc dominated in the two races so far and Sainz finished behind him.

There have been many speculations that Charles Leclerc will become the Number 1 driver in Ferrari, while Sainz will be the Number 2. Amid all this, the Spaniard shared that he’s still not adapted to the new car. Although, he felt better at the Jeddah race and soon will race at his best with the F1-75.

Sainz shared, “While I’m still not 100% with the car, to keep bringing the points and the podiums is important until I get back to 100%–then it will be time to join the guys at the top for the fight.”

Undoubtedly, Sainz has been a phenomenal addition to the Italian F1 team. So, they want to continue their association and talks have been going on with Sainz for a new contract. At the moment, Sainz is preparing for the upcoming race in Melbourne. Let’s see if the Spaniard can take the lead in the Australian GP or not.
