Vettel would probably be one of the most liked and appropriate faces to represent the sport. He can make you laugh, he can motivate you, and he can do anything else that you can imagine. He has been a champion on the grid and, of course, beyond the grid. However, he once broke character to give pretty amusing advice to his fans.

The driver has often been a part of F1’s Grill the Grid segment. There, he once exhibited his humor by giving shocking dating advice to the viewers. For old fans of his, it wouldn’t have been surprising given how Vettel was notoriously known for his charisma in his younger days.

On one of the Grill the Grid episodes, where the interviewer asked, “Do you split a cheque on the date,” the German commented, “Why would you do that? See that stuff, I’m old school.”

And then he jokingly went on to say something that no one expected. He added, “You let her pay of course.” This resulted in everyone breaking into laughter.
