Don’t get us wrong, the drivers are still on vacation before the new championship season starts. However, the grid has started putting in the hours at the gym to get back in shape. Russell got a brilliant idea to get his workout during his time at the beach, possibly still holidaying. However, it’s his efforts on the beach that is making fans pose some questions.

The Mercedes man will be hoping to build on the first win of his career in 2023 with competent machinery. However, competent machinery also needs a competent driver, and Russell is working towards that. We’re not sure how hard the Brit is at it during his off-time, but his recent Instagram activity might have some answers.

Russell posted a reel with a small compilation of his beach workout with ‘eye of the tiger’ song playing the background. In the reel captioned, “No excuses. Keep pushing,” we can see Russell do pushups, and squats, and go for a run with the sun setting behind him.

The picturesque workout scenery, however, is making the fans question the intensity of it all. More than the intensity, the fans are pointing out that the “shirtless post” is back.
