Consequences a German reporter is already facing after putting this theory to test on a small scale using F1 legend Michael Schumacher.

We are all aware German journalist Anne Hoffmann used AI tools to create a fake interview with Schumacher. The news broke and the fans instantly showcased their displeasure towards the faux interview. Now, because of this act, Hoffmann is already facing real-life consequences, as reported by DW.com.

The Funke media group, the publishing magazine of the German tabloid Die Aktuelle, announced the dismissal of Anne Hoffmann. The magazine’s managing director also issued an apology statement. “This tasteless and misleading article should never have appeared. It in no way corresponds to the standards of journalism that we — and our readers — expect from a publisher like Funke,” said Bianca Pohlmann (MD Funke magazine).

To make Hoffmann’s life worse, the seven-time champ’s family is also planning to take legal action against the journalist.

Ever since Schumacher’s injury in 2013, the German has not made any public appearances. We often get updates about his well-being from his wife, Corinna. However, back in 2016, an unknown individual, understood to be Schumacher’s childhood friend, tried to make money by breaching his privacy.

The unnamed individual took a photo of Schumacher and tried to sell them to media outlets. The individual put a price tag of $1.09 million on the photo. However, this disgusting act of greed never came to fruition. The individual could not sell the photos and Schumacher peacefully rests with anonymity.
