Remember when Lewis Hamilton was accused of using foul language on the radio? Vettel lashed out at the journalist, explaining that with the adrenaline pumping, these things happen and there’s no need to make a big deal out of it. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez put out a united front following their fierce tussle to lash out at F1 Journalist. What did the Red Bull dream team say?
Red Bull locked out the front row for the Austrian Sprint Race. Both the drivers had a good start but it was Sergio Perez who had an advantage coming out of Turn 1. The fiery tussle began when Checo pushed Max onto the grass leaving him no room. Nevertheless, Max Verstappen dive-bombed the Mexican into Turn 3 and retook the position. Whilst the tussle was short-lived, it was quite intense.

According to Formulapassion.it, Max Verstappen said “We could have, but it didn’t happen. You don’t need to make a big story out of it, you know? Sometimes it happens. We talk about it, we clarify and that’s okay. That’s how human beings work sometimes. You ask a question, answer it and solve it, and stop. There is no need to write an entire article about it, I hope. Or maybe you can, to get more clicks, if you want.”
As Verstappen explained that there’s no need to escalate the issue and/or make an article about it. Sergio Perez agreed with Verstappen and sarcastically said “The race was too boring, so this could be the story of the day.” When asked about his opinion, Perez continued with a sarcastic tone and added “Make a nice article on this topic!”
While everything was cool and calm once the drivers got out of the car, the situation within the race was quite fiery. Let’s just say that Perez and Verstappen said enough on the radio to get the speculations started. But what did they say?
