Lando Norris came into the sport as one of the youngest F1 drivers in history. If considered, he’s the second youngest on the 2022 F1 grid after AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda. Currently 23 years old, the Briton had his birthday last week amid the busy Brazilian Grand Prix.
As he was attending the fan event in the UAE, Norris dolefully stated, “I’ve not had any birthday cake. I’ve not had a birthday party yet.”
The fans who were present there reacted with “awe” and soon after decided to make the place a mini party and sing, “Happy Birthday Dear Lando.”
Fans react as Lando Norris missed out on his birthday cake
As soon as McLaren uploaded the video on their official Twitter handle, wishes poured in from fans for the McLaren star driver. The fans wished him all the best and wanted to bring a birthday cake for the young man.
Given below are some of the reactions from Twitter.
It is worth mentioning that Lando also suffused from food pointing during the Brazilian GP weekend, which only made his Sunday race harder.
Oh no! Get that boy some birthday cake quickly! 🎂😋
Can I go too? I'll bring cake 🎂
This melts my heart ❤️🫶🏼🫶🏼
Interestingly, one of the fans anticipated that nobody should be surprised if the birthday cakes come to the McLaren paddock till Sunday. Given this public confession already went viral, that could certainly be the case.
I WAS SINGING TOO!!! AMAZING FEELING

This was the best 😍😍
A win, podium, or good point haul certainly could have compensated for Norris’s missing birthday party. However, the race at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace was cruel, as the Briton had to retire from the race, citing electrical issues in his car on Lap 50.
