The upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is set to be one of the most emotional races ever. This is not only going to be the last dance for Sebastian Vettel but unfortunately for Mick Schumacher as well. As the drivers went out for Friday’s free practice, the two drivers shared a moment with each that melted fans’ hearts.

The Yas Marina Circuit is all set to say goodbye to Vettel and Schumacher as one retires from the sport while the other lost his seat to Nico Hulkenberg at Haas. As the drivers get behind the wheel one last week, their bromance made fans react online. The reactions came pouring in when they saw Vettel make eye contact with Schumacher.

In a video posted by Formula 1’s official Twitter handle, the Aston Martin driver pulled up his visor to look at the Haas driver and made eye contact with him. Schumacher also looked at Seb and pointed at him from the sidelines.

Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher always had great bonding on and off the track. The two Germans got along very well and it has been quite evident as we have seen them come out to check on each other after a number of run-offs and crashes this year. As the fans will not see the duo next year, they turned emotional and reacted to the scene on social media.

As a matter of fact, Vettel had a great relationship with Mick’s father, Michael Schumacher. The former Red Bull star has been a long-time admirer of the Ferrari legend, who he also saw as a mentor.

All in all, Vettel had a great career in Formula 1, spanning over 15 years. He picked up 4 driver’s titles as well as 53 race wins, which is the third-highest in the sport. Compared to him, Mick Schumacher’s career in F1 stopped very soon, just after two years on the American team.
