FC Real Madrid might have the biggest fan following in the world, but when it comes to Formula 1, no one can beat Lewis Hamilton and his loyal fanbase, who call themselves the Lewis Hamilton Army. Considering the seven-time world champion is a Britisher, you would think his reach is limited only to the UK—the home of racing. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Hamilton, like Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, has become a household name all over the world, and it’s not just because of his success in F1.

As fierce as Hamilton is on track week in and week out, his off-track aura is what fans love most about him. After Eddie Jordan made his way into the F1 landscape with his team, Jordan GP, he’s slowly built himself up as a mogul of the sport, amassing a net worth of $600 million over the years. Having been associated with F1 for so long, he watched Hamilton make his way through this high-octane sport and develop into one of the greatest drivers the sport has seen. It’s safe to say few people can assess Hamilton better than Jordan.

On a recent episode of the Talksport podcast, as quoted by formulapassion.it, Jordan said, “Hamilton is at a time in his life where he has achieved such greatness, with dignity, with style, and with integrity, that everything he decides to try his hand at, from music to fashion, takes on a certain importance.” [Translated by Google] If there’s one thing Hamilton is known for other than his driving skills, it’s his fashion sense. Every race weekend, he’s one of the best-dressed people to walk the paddock. Needless to say, fashion is a big part of what defines him.

It’s no secret that the seven-time champion is at the fag end of his career. He doesn’t seem to be one of those drivers who would want to stick to racing even after retirement. Instead, in congruence with what Jordan said, he might dabble in fashion or could even expand the numerous businesses he’s passionate about.

Considering he already has connections in the fashion industry and is an ambassador of Tommy Hilfiger, could we possibly see a Lewis Hamilton fashion line a few years down the line?

Lewis Hamilton attended his “big brother’s” fashion show in Paris

After the Canadian GP this season, Hamilton flew to Paris to attend Louis Vuitton’s Menswear Spring/Summer 2024 show, the first hosted by LV’s new Creative Director, Pharrell Willimas. The two of them go way back. Just like Hamilton is no stranger to the fashion world, Williams isn’t one to the F1 world. He’s appeared in Lewis’ camp more than once, and the two have been friends for more than a decade, so much so that the 7-time world champion calls the 11-time Grammy winner his “big brother.”

To support Williams for his first show, Hamilton arrived in an all-black outfit with a Damier-pattern LV jacket. During the show, he spent time with Jaden and Willow Smith—children of LH44 Army member Will Smith. Seated in the front row with the Smiths, the group vibed to Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams’ performance

Although everyone in the F1 community would be sad to see Lewis Hamilton retire, we can’t help but be excited about what’s to come from the global superstar post-F1!
