Greek Tennis Sensation Reveals Her Idol Worship of Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton is one of the most popular athletes in the world. He has an enormous fan base that travels across the globe to see him drive and compete. His success has also enamored athletes from other sports and they often talk about their admiration for the 7-time world champion.
Recently, the Greek tennis player Maria Sakkari stated that the Mercedes driver is her favorite F1 driver. She also revealed that the season finale in Abu Dhabi left her upset as she was cheering for Lewis.
” My favorite F1 driver… who doesn’t like Lewis Hamilton? I was very sad with what happened at the end of the season but I know he’s gonna bounce back,” said Maria Sakkari.

Lewis Hamilton gives sage advice to Emma Raducanu
As reported by Formula1.com, Sakkari isn’t the only tennis player who admires Lewis. The new US Open champion and tennis sensation Emma Raducanu stated she got some good advice from Hamilton at the Met Gala 2021.

“I met [Hamilton] in person at the Met Gala and we had a really good conversation there, and since then I’ve been looking up to him, following him, and supporting him… but it’s cool–whenever we meet, it’s really cool,” said Emma.
