Kelly Piquet had earlier invited Lewis Hamilton’s fans’ fury when she liked social media posts that defended her father’s racist comments about Lewis. The comments drew massive criticism not just from F1, but also from Red Bull and Mercedes.
Now, Kelly’s mother, Sylvia has become the subject of conversation when she responded positively to negative comments on things as mundane as Lewis picking the bill for Sebastian Vettel’s retirement dinner.
Kelly Piquet’s mother’s recent social media activity angers Lewis Hamilton fans
ESPN F1 shared a post on Instagram with photos from Sebastian Vettel’s retirement dinner attended by all the F1 drivers. The post caption read, “Lewis [Hamilton] organizing Seb’s farewell dinner and then picking up the tab. GOAT behavior.”
The post had a comment that read, “ESPN F1 making a dinner to celebrate Vettel about Lewis, surprised.” Sylvia responded to the comment with, “Exactly!”
Apart from this, another Instagram post has surfaced where Sylvia applauded a troll comment on Motorsport.com’s post on Lewis Hamilton being given honorary citizenship in Brazil.
