In a recent development, Logan Sargeant finally overcame the dramatic challenge and acquired his Formula 1 superlicence. The F2 driver who’s supposed to replace outgoing Nicholas Latifi in the 2023 F1 season, has finally achieved the license to race in F1. With this, the Williams F1 team now has their driver lineup complete with Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant. However, the fans are divided over the 21-year-old’s inclusion.

Sargeant acquired his superlicence after he finished the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in P5. The F2 race at the Yas Marina Circuit saw Ayumu Iwasa take the win while Sargeant’s teammate at Carlin Liam Lawson took P3. Despite this, the American’s P5 was enough to give him the driver’s position on the British F1 team.
