The 2022 season would be the start of a new era in Formula 1. The new rules and regulations aim to bring the grid closer and introduce a budget cap for the teams. The teams are gradually looking to launch their respective car liveries, with the Haas F1 team becoming the first team to launch their 2022 livery. But Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko believes that fans will be disappointed with the Red Bull livery launch.

He stated that because of the drastic rule change, the Austrian team would not be sharing any details regarding their new car.

The rules stayed the same last year. So we decided to have the car ready very early for the 2021 season. At the time, this decision proved to be the right one. But now it’s exactly the opposite: With the new rules, everyone wants to be finished as late as possible – also so as not to show everything too early,” said the Red Bull advisor.

Well, this takes away the excitement out of all the upcoming livery launches. But hopefully, we will see the new cars at the pre-season tests in Barcelona and Bahrain. How do you think the first season in the new era of F1 will pan out?
