Our ego is our silent partner- too often with a controlling interest. Lewis Hamilton tried to make amends to Mercedes and Toto Wolff for the things that were said after the 2023 Bahrain GP, highlighting the point of differences between the two. Nevertheless, the attempt backfired in his face as the community expresses retaliation towards it.

Earlier this month Hamilton made comments suggesting he informed Mercedes of the problems with the design and the car back in 2022. Yet Mercedes carried forward the zeroPod design and are left searching for answers as Red Bull is farther away than they were compared to last year. The Briton went on to explain how he’s driven many cars in his racing career and knows when something was wrong with it. The seven-time-world champion indicated that Mercedes isn’t owning accountability for not listening to him.

According to the the-race.com, Lewis Hamilton during an interview with BBC Radio 5 live saidLast year, there were things I told them, I said the issues that are with the car,” said Hamilton.“I’ve driven so many cars in my life, I know what a car needs, I know what a car doesn’t need. Further adding“And I think it’s really about accountability. It’s about owning up and saying, ‘Yeah, you know what, we didn’t listen to you, it’s not where it needs to be’, and we’ve got to work,”

Later in the month before the Saudi Arabian GP, Lewis suggested that the words used by him for criticizing his team were not the right ones. He accepted the fact that the team does listen to him while referring to all the success they’ve managed together and that he is not always right. However, the Brit still insisted that he was right in the scenario where Mercedes was not owing accountability.
