Actor and Environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio is backing Lewis Hamilton and his Neat Burger Project. Hamilton, who is environmentally conscious, is a vegan himself. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion has Neat Burgers as his way of giving an insight into this necessary aim. This project is close to his heart.

The 37-year-old, who has always been very environmentally conscious, turned vegan and pledged to guide the world to a better future. Apart from his racing career, Hamilton often speaks about issues close to his heart and tries to support the same.

Neat Burger aims to create a sustainable and delicious plant-based product. With the patty out of quinoa, seaweed, plant cells, etc, the vegan food chain has ethically sourced everything and is gluten-free, egg free, and dairy-free.

Hamilton and Tommaso Chiabra founded the company in 2019. As they already bloom in the UK, their next market destination is the US. World-famous actor DiCaprio’s engagement in the project will only facilitate smooth operations.

Neat Food Co’s recent funding of $30 million will only fuel its growth, as they rope in several A-level investors. With 8 locations in the UK, it has created enough buzz and now plans to start 12 more in the US. The company is looking for a decent setup in New York, which is a prime location and will provide them with encouraging business.

Talking about business ventures, Chiabra said, “Our focus this year is on entering the New York market and establishing ourselves within the local community before expanding via our hybrid model of online and offline restaurants to other regions such as Miami, Austin, and L.A. next year.”
